Gatherers Lather specialises in hand-made soaps, masks and bath-bombs using natural, skin-loving ingredients. Our soaps are made from pure essential oils, clays and natural ingredients like orange zest, coffee grinds and flower petals. Using natural products that are kind to your skin, cruelty free, vegan friendly, sourced locally, and not harmful to the environment. Good’ for' the planet because they're ‘from' the planet. Our creative workshops allow you to connect with the Northern Rivers ethos of health and wellness and explore your desire to create something beautiful and practical to use in your everyday life.
Who are we?
Hi! I am Alicia aka the Gatherers Lather skin care merchant from Lennox Head.
I handmake natural soap and skin care products that are kind to the planet and use skin loving ingredients. My ethos is to reduce waste and the impact on the planet whilst also supporting Australian industry. I love that such a simple everyday product, such as soap, can allow me to be creative and still source ingredients locally. My handcrafted soaps focus on properties found in natural ingredients that are dermatologically balanced and allow the skin to be moisturised. My goal is to be kind to the planet. The name Gatherer’s Lather comes from my passion to use simple natural ingredients that can be sourced locally and in some cases are byproducts. For example orange zest or coffee grinds, both of these examples are grown locally in the Northern Rivers and are both products that would have been tossed out once a juice or coffee was made.The Gatherer’s Lather products are affordable for everyday use. Men and women who wish to look after their skin and enjoy the sensation of washing with a great moisture rich soap will love using these products everyday.
